THIRD WORLD CARNIVAL RIDE and ATOMIC POLO
A hand-cranked carnival ride constructed in Berlin from a discarded truck axle and scrap steel. Also, Madagascar drew a 500-person audience for Atomic Polo, an outdoor guerilla performance sport played on two dozen puppet horses with a flaming ball, thundering flamethrower goalposts, chanting cheerleaders, and a live German country band performingAmerican classics. With support from Ransom Corp., Kunst Fabric, and RAW Temple. They told us we couldn't make Germans laugh. They were wrong.
